Three days of fantastic sailing! Friday showed us light winds on 5 kts however Saturday and Sunday delivered with 10-15 kts of perfect weather. 15 boats showed up from 5 states as far as Iowa and Texas. The lead shifted places over the weekend but the venerable Jane Sherrod (Santa Fe, TX) took the contest with a commanding third day rout of the field. Second place went to Marc Bachman (Gulf Breeze, FL) and third place was captured by our own Michael McNeir. A big shout out goes to our Regatta Chairman Patti Hogan, Fleet Captain Jay Williams, and all around boat wrangler Jay Shuman for a great effort. The Social Committee nailed the breakfast as always and the staff of the OSYC made everyone feel right at home.
